You feel guilty for losing interest and legitimate concern for the people affected, but numerous events back to back is exhausting. natural disaster, man-made disaster, hurricane, tornado, earthquake, flood, shooting, terrorism, terrorist act, bombing, explosion, mass casualty

We have had 3 tornados and 2 major floods this year. I have got major disaster fatigue.

Not only do these "Disaster Magnets" cling to such things but they also attract and even create such drama. Another variant of these beings also Find themselves broken down on the highway, stricken with health problems, and even in abusive relationships with other disaster magnets. The disaster magnet often travel in flocks and engage in a Circular pattern of self destruction.
