Crush

A crush is when you have a huge desire to be with someone, that person is your crush. This usually occurs during middle and high school but can occur other ages. When you have a crush, you may have fantasies about that person. This can be having that person returning the feelings or it may be physical or sexual. Sexual is more common, even in middle school because of the hormones changing, sex becomes an embarrassing desire. A crush will only last to a maximum of 2 years. A person may try to bump into their crush on "Accident" or others will take a whole new route just to avoid there crush.

Guy 1: "Why do you always act weird around her."
Guy 2: "No reason. *Blushing*."
Guy 1: "Oh I get it. You have a crush on her."

We all get them, whether it's in high school, at work, or on that crammed Circle line train the other day. Involves desires to be with them, however, we never get them, due to either rejection, leaving it too late or the girl not being allowed to have a boyfriend. Occasionally breaks our hearts.

Guy: I've got such a big crush on you!
Girl: About that, my parents won't let me have a boyfriend

A crush is when you like someone alot romantically. You want to spend alot of your time with them and depending on how serious the crush is you can become a little obsessed with them. When you speak to your crush you may become flustered and shy and tongue-tied or you can become really giddy and talk their ear off. Every crush is different. You can develop a crush on anyone, your friend, a classmate, a neighbour, a celebrity - you can't choose your crush. Having a crush can be experienced differently by different people, some people love them and some people hate them.

It is important to remember that not everyone has crushes and you shouldn't say someone is lying when they tell you they've never had a crush or liked anyone.

Kyla: Isn't Tom gorgeous? I can't stop thinking about him. I wish I could talk to him but whenever I try to I freak out and run away.
Beth: Sounds like someone's got a crush!
Kyla: Stop teasing me! Tom is literally ruining my life! Have some sympathy.
