Chromo

Any useless, annoying individual. The word implies low intelligence and social status, and/or lack of moral values.
Only moderately insulting, the term conveys the idea that the person thus designated is looked-down on, but not hated. Comes from chromosome, hinting that the insultee might be missing a few.

1. Jean l'agent, c'est un chromo.
(John the security guard is a chromo.)
2. Ces chromos-là m'ont vendu le mauvais gugusse.
(Those chromos sold me the wrong gizmo.)
3. Est verte, chromo!

slang. A person who demonstrates a love or healthy obsession with wearing, collecting or discussing wristwatches.

Since Glenn was a well-known chronophile, wristwatch manufacturers routinely sent their newest collections to him for his opinion and critique.
