An awkward embrace, usually between two heterosexual men who are uncomfortable touching each other, in which each person uses only one hand to hold the other person close and uses the other hand to pat, slap, or punch the back of the other person. A straight-guy hug is used to insure that no one watching will think the two people are intimate or have an emotional attachment or sexual attraction to each other. Women and gay, bi, or trans men who are uncomfortable touching one another may also use a straight-guy hug.

A catchphrase used to express the great value of a gift, prize or object. It was used in the 1997 film 'The Castle', where the main character Daryl Kerrigan (played by Michael Caton), says to gifts such as 'a samurai-sword letter opener' that this is going straight to the poolroom, implying it's so tremendously amazing. It should be preserved and safeguarded in a secure place, like a trophy.
Matiese's passion for game hunting, sparked interest in Taxidermy. The visualization to preserve a recherche' cadeau would be fine to go straight to the pool room beside the sword collection.

A reality show where defiant teens are forced to spend a day (and sometimes a night) in jail, interacting with convicted felons who give them first-hand experience of life behind bars with the hope that they see where the path of destruction they are headed down could lead them.
It fun to watch Beyond Scared Straight and see troublesome and stupid brats get a much-needed attitude adjustment by visiting prison and getting verbally abused by inmates and prison staff.
