Jack is being indicted for multiple felonies. Jack blames the Deep State instead of taking responsibility for his actions.

The Deeps

Literally meaning "Depression". The term was incepted as a replacement for the actual name of the disease by those wishing to identify that they have itgffee for purposes such as validity, perspective, background, etc. while attempting to avoid some of the negative connotations that come along with it.

Also having to do with the "deep" feelings of depression one might feel with the disease.

Etymology: DEEP-ression

That movie got me in the Deeps.

Deep

When a person is deep, or called deep. The behavior or task they are doing. is excessive or unnecessary

Uncle is hella Deep. He has all his knives, and swords lined up on the living room floor. Talking about he's going to sharpen them. (Excessive)

I'm not Deep! Just being prepared. I never leave the house without electrical tape,
