monkey trap

a trap designed to catch animals too smart to fall for an ordinary trap i.e. monkeys and people. It works by appealing to their greed such as a job that sucks but pays to well to let go of, or a relationship which is empty or destructive but offers certain perks which make it hard to escape.
The original monkey trap involves a hollow coconut chained to a stake and baited with food. It has a hole large enough for the monkey to put its hand into, but too small to remove its hand while holding the bait. The monkey needs only to let go to escape, but gets caught because it refuses to let go in its panic to keep its precious find.

I hate this job, but it pays too well for me to quit and get a straight job. What a monkey trap.

Space Monkey

A game played by boys and girls ages 10-20 who can't manage to get their hands on any weed. Choking yourself causes lack of oxygen to the brain and can cause oneself to lose consciousness or die. Kids think that it makes them feel high, while really it just destroy's their brain.

1. The act of hanging around and bullshitting. Often used synonimously with the term stagalate. This word originates from the Southern regions of the Chicagoland Area by a species known as late-ass-us-colorus-people-timus.

2. The one friend that manages to stop all productive activities. This person (the monkey baller) usually has nothing better to do with there time so they proceed with dumb questions and even dumber activities that distract others f/ completing tasks
