A virtual pass given to a friend to excuse him from something for the remainder of the day. The phrase "Day Pass" is generally used in a sentence and expressed as giving the "Pass" to a friend in order to excuse them from having to perform a duty and/or chore.
"I've said bless you twice now for sneezing, so I think I get a Day Pass so I don't have to do it again."

This is a band you used to listen to and kids would make fun of you. You would then work hard on your music, get more involved and the punk rock scene would advance and grow.
And now you make fun of kids with Simple Plan shirts.

5 years ago: "Hey, look at the kid with the Green Day Shirt"

Sweetest Day, a pseudo-holiday, is celebrated on the third saturday of every October. It is one of the stupidest things ever. It makes Valentine's day look authentic - at least it's nationally recognized. Sweetest Day exists almost strictly in the midwest, specifically in Chicago.

Day of the dead is the Catholic, and generally Mexican(although its celebrated in most north and south american places) holiday celebrating All Souls Day, aka Halloween, aka the ancient Samhain.
It's celebrated with skulls, skeletons, candy, camping out in cemeteries, and amateur seances. It's every goth and emo kid's dream day. Also called Dia de los Muertos.
It is one kick ass holiday.
