Land Before Time Status

A series of impossibly bad events one after the other. Based on the popular movie, "The Land Before Time". In it, the young dinosaur Little Foot, is victim to a chain of horrible events like being attacked by a T-Rex, witnessing an earthquake, watching his mother die, being separated from his only family, going on the biggest journey of his life without adults or anyone to protect him and being attacked by that same T-Rex twice more.

Friend A: "Dude, I got pulled over for speeding today, then the cop arrested me for holding my friend's pot, then my girlfriend dumped me for missing our date while I was in jail."
Friend B: "Sorry man, that's Land Before Time Status."

good-time dad

A dad who has little to no interest in the lives of his children other than keeping up the appearance of a good father. Dad's such as this will buy their children meaningless material gifts, junk food, and occasional activities to win their child's affection, but will never be involved in a meaningful way beyond a token appearance.

Little Johnny has been in soccer for 5 years. Johnny's dad, Toolbag, shows up at one soccer game and continually refers to this event as a reference to his involvement in Johnny's life. Toolbag could be described as a "good-time dad."

Phil Time

Contrary to popular belief, 'Phil Time' is actually nothing more then some time to relax in bed and listen to music. Usually after a long night or day.

This term has been blown out of proportion by people who have dirty minds, who believe it to mean a time for masturbation.

G: Where's Phil?
Adam: In bed, having Phil Time.
G: He's having a bat? Hahaha
Phil: No, I was just sleeping after that long flight. MORON.
