Staging

When a buddy covers for a friend by arranging a workspace (office or cube) to give the appearance the friend is in the office but just away from their desk.

Bridget was running late, luckily Ben was used to staging her office so it looked like she was there and did so quickly.

Saving Jane

Contrary to the other definitions odd opinion, a very good band that has only had a couple popular songs, one of which was very good (Girl Next Door), the other being completely off from anything else they've ever done (Supergirl).

A common focus is love, but they have at least two songs about an abusive boyfriend.

Also, Taylor Swift copied the melody of the chorus of Girl Next Door and used it in her song I'd Lie.

Me: Yeah, and then One Girl Revolution started playing on my iPod in the middle of class. I couldn't turn it off before my teacher noticed and took it away!
My friend: Saving Jane or Superchick?
Me: Superchick, but I love both songs!

When you run out of Mary Jane and proceed to check the couch for crumbs, gather all your roach's and scrape the rolling table. literally scrounging together everything you have a metaphoric shaving of the felines hind.

Billy ran out of chronic late friday night and couldn't pick up. So he just ended up shaving the cat's back and waited till morning.
