burntual reality

The concept and idea of Burning Man and its sanctioned regional burns, but in the space of Virtual Reality.
In the year 2020, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Burning Man and many of its regional burns were forced to cancel leaving hundreds of thousands of burners without a way to gather and express themselves. A small group known as Black Rock City VR (BRCVR.org) ventured into the realms of virtual reality, found the platform AltspaceVR, and struck a deal between The BM Org and AltspaceVR to hold the world's first, fully sanctioned, fully realized VIRTUAL BURN!

Kmart realism

A minimalist style of writing often used in short fiction. It usually features depressed middle class working people in bleak settings. The term "Kmart realism" was originally meant to be insulting. Authors include Tao Lin, Chris Killen, Joy Williams, Ann Beattie, Frederick Barthelme, and (to a lesser extent) Sam Pink.
"Sometimes when dolphins went to playgrounds alone they did the monkeybars and went to the swings and on the swings thought, "I hate this stupid world."

They thought, "I hate it."

They cried a little with the wind against their face.

They felt so bad that they went away.

And found Elijah Wood and told Elijah Wood to go with them and Elijah Wood went--because he thought it was a movie. Elijah Wood and other celebrities like Salman Rushdie rode dolphins in rivers. Salman Rushdie felt proud and famous. And the dolphins swam to islands and beat Elijah Wood and the other famous people with heavy branches. They cried when they murdered human beings, and it was terrible.

One dolphin had a battle axe and killed Wong Kar-Wai."

realist

A person who believes in facts to determine truth. Either deeply Objective or extremely Subjective.
Often used to describe people who'se political views hold no right/left-wing loyalty and instead use objective information in order to determine their stances on issues.
Also a term used to describe Atheists and Agnostics incorrectly. Realists are often Atheists and/or Agnostics because Theism goes against their nature to believe only facts and instead rely on faith.
Realists suffer from trust/confidence issues and are often apathetic because they uaually refuse to act without knowing the reprocussions beforehand. Realist's don't normally react well to society because of their refusal to fall under social categories and because their lack of trust in others often forms ego problems.
Non-Realist: "The bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were our only hope to defeating Japan."
Realist: "According to General MacArthur, General Eisenhower, General Spaatz, Fleet Admiral Nimitz, and many other extremely high ranking US officials in charge of the pacific at the time both bombs were extremely unnecessary as Japan would have surrendered regardless. Actually the bombs played little effect as the Russians taking Manchuria is what ultimately made Japan surrender. The Atomic bombs were really nothing more than a giant war crime that Truman got away with."

reality show

One show that I can relate closer to reality is the news; if it even does tell the 'reality'.
