murk rock

A subgenre of rock music featuring heavy bass, trip-hop drum grooves, psychedelic guitars, SLOW tempos and ominous/mysterious lyrical themes. Can also use piano and experimental production to evoke a sophisticated "secret agent" vibe, or a mysterious far-away "underwater" feeling (hence the term murk).

Essentially, goth + grunge with electronic elements.

"Foz my murk" also translates to, "Get me out of here!". It is generally used as a signal to escape an awkward meeting with someone else. In most cases, the term is used in clubs or bars when struggling to leave a creepy, flirtatious guy. The term is also used when needing to leave an uncomfortable situation with someone you generally don't like.
