Derived from the original glomp, a power-glomp occurs when either the glomper or the glompee (or sometimes both) is wearing a Green Lantern-inspired power ring of some description. This includes official DC-endorsed props and home-made replicas.

Having finished creating my own Green Lantern power ring, I immediately put it on and power-glomped my friend.
