Fanciology

An ideology, concerned with getting people on your side by saying words that are beautiful, but with no regard to consistency, reality or logical thinking. A fanciologist will not be concerned with proving their claims to be real, and will swiftly change their claims to better support their current argument.

Fanciology's main task is to use beauty to make a statement sound good, sophisticated or true.

It is often used in social, political and religious arguements.

A person abiding to this ideology can be refered to as an Fanciologist.

"What he preaches is Fanciology. It has no basis in reality".
"Sounds too good to be true, it must be Fanciology".

Fanbias

The fanbase for the little-known character from the hit show Arrested Development, Tobias Fünke. Tobias Fünke has several odd tics and quirks, which his supporters tend to retain as well (ex: abnormal hair plug fascination, a career as an analrapist, painting yourself a marvelous hue of blue).
