Blindman River

place. A bustling commune south of Blackfalds in the upper cretaceous part of Alberta. Founded in 1968 by born-again pacifists Blindman River rapidly became the local centre of gravel-related industry. Reknowned for their kettle-corn maize and recently built fancy string-bag factory the devoted inhabitants are fighting to bring prosperity and a modicum of educated classiness to the region. Clothing-optional Fridays attract new recruits for the weekends but the lack of advancement opportunities and long chants usually result in a mass exodus of the new blood by Tuesday.

Twice voted Commune of the Year by New Moon Monthly the commune is hoping to have an on-site schoolhouse completed soon.

Blind Weekend

When two consenting adults that have never met schedule a weekend getaway for their first in-person encounter. Usually warmed up by mutual facebook stalking and exchange of selfies to make sure that each person is sufficiently physically attracted to the other. The weekend typically consists of dining out, alcohol consumption, copious 'love making,' and occasional awkwardness. Insufficient long-term data to determine if these weekends result in long-term relationships between the participants.

Guy to girl - "sup girl. Enjoyed those pics of you at Chili's w/your girlfriends on facebook. So glad M introduced us. When you flying to Chicago to meet me?"

Girl to guy - "haha. You're funny. What are you doing next weekend?"

Guy to girl - "meeting you at the W for a blind weekend."

When someone is hating on you and you never ever see them, physically or mentally.

Someone hating without the other individual knowing what the hate is for.

Never formally met, but you hating on me.

1: I heard some boys on the east side blind hating.

2: I never meet him before but i can tell he is a blind hater.

3: James been a blind hater since i first met him and he hasn't changed yet.

Friend Blindness

When you've become deep enough friends with someone, that you become unaware of their flaws and imperfections. Someone with friend blindness would stand up for their ugly friends, telling everyone how hot he/she is.

When you think your friend is a 9, and everyone else thinks he/she is a 6.

Terrie: "I remember when I met Alexis, I thought she was so average. But after knowing her for awhile now, she has really become quite beautiful."

Chris: "She looks the same as when you met her. You suffer from Friend Blindness."
