A term used by artists when referring to normal maps when they aren't supposed to be using normal maps

Map Guy

A software developer who believes that any data can and should only be represented by a map. Map guys to be sloppy, introduce lots of regressions in code, and worry about being what people are talking about in private conversations. Good teams should have at least three computer guys for every map guy on the roster.

BAJ is such a map guy, we spent an entire afternoon debugging his API code.
