sacrifice double play

Where there are runners at first and second and the batter grounds into a double play. The runner on first is forced out, as is the batter, but the runner on second moves over to third.

Hence, a sacrifice double play.

Also known as a San Francisco sacrifice.

With Schierholtz on first and Sandoval on second, Aubrey "Audrey" Huff hits a weak ground ball to second for a 4-6-3 double play.

Sandoval goes to third. A sacrifice double play. A San Francisco sacrifice.

sacrificialigion

An attempted online religion from the 1990s, it never got the desired saturation into mainstream, because the founder (i.e. A. J. Allegro), committed suicide soon after its conception. The basis of the religion was that the world would be better off if we all killed ourselves.

I'm so depressed at how we humans have raped Mother Nature, I am thinking about starting a sacrificialigion.

to sacrifice a person to another (usually large, bulky or muscular) person for sexual advances (not serious in nature) to either save their own ass or for amusement.The victim usually does NOT know what is going on and can be seen (or heard) being dragged into the sacrifucker's room.The people offering the victim are mostly friends of the victim and sacrifucker, knowing how and when to set the victim up to be sacrifucked.
