That thing where you keep meeting someone when drinking and introduce yourself, forgetting you've already met them because you were drunk last time you met. Based on Groundhog's Day where Ned Ryerson (Stephen Tobolowsky) keeps introducing himself to Bill Murray's character, unaware they've been in the same situation many times before.
