I tried to make a halfway decent contribution to society and I got rejected by those damn moderators at Urbandictionary. Though they prefer the title "editors", because they like to feel for once as if they aren't insignificant retards.

Moderatorlomania

Combination of "moderator" and "megalomania"

When power goes to the head of a moderator of an online forum.

They start acting as though their intelligence, judgement and opinions are superior to non-moderators.

Common symptoms: talking down to people, patronising them, banning people who post opinions differing from their own, being cliquey with other moderators.

"That moderator banned me for disagreeing with his political opinions. He's in the advanced stages of moderatorlomania."

Mod: "Another word from you and it's BAN!"

Me: "Uh oh, moderatorlomania!"

A descriptive noun used for a moderator and/or monitor of on-line chat rooms, message boards or blogs who doesn't possess the wit or intelligence to recognize obviously sarcastic humorous posts and summarily removes them.

moderately modest

A term coined by the Australian tiktoker, @sarahbada_, to describe fashion that can include tops that cover the breast to mid stomach and bottoms that can go up to just above the knee or to mid thigh. However these requirements are loosely used as comprises are made often, eg. a crop top and show more stomach is the bottoms are high waisted or a dress can be backless if the entire front is covered.

Talia: Wow, I think this top would look nice on you! Do you think it fits your style?

Sarah: Yes! It is perfectly moderately modest!

1. A person who, upon hearing the political arguments presented by both of the only two options available in the U.S., decides that both sides are run by crazy fanatics with no concept or reality. Upon realizing this, the moderate also comes to the conclusion that the only way to make progress is to aid both sides of the struggle to both make the favorable changes and fend off the unfavorable.
2. One who thinks before voting.

You've got your religious zealots on the right, and communist human haters on the left. Guess I'll have to be a moderate, it's the only choice for the sane.
