hobo eggs

Noun. Also called "hobo" "hobos" "egg-in-a-hole" or "one eyed Egyptians." A breakfast dish prepared by buttering a piece of bread on both sides, cutting a hole in the middle with a biscuit cutter, then placing the bread in a fry pan and breaking an egg into the hole. The round piece of bread, cut by the biscuit cutter, is cooked in the pan along with the hobo.

We had hobo eggs for brekfast.

When you "bathe" using the sink in a public restroom at a gas station or fast food place. It usually involves washing your face and hair using the pump soap provided. Can also include an upper body wash for men.

Generally something that most people only do when traveling a long distance or coming back from Burning Man.

hobo build

A computer that omits luxuries such as a case and a CD rom drive. The lowest possible cost to build a computer. It usually only consists of a motherboard, one stick of ram, the cheapest possible processor, and a flash drive for "storage". Typically runs a linux distro due to low system requirements. Also usually seen sitting in a custom cardboard "case".

Done by first time computer builders in fear of building the computer wrong and it ending in an explosion of a wasted $800, or, hence the name, the homeless who have found enough computer parts to put together a computer that just barely works.

I'm too poor to afford a real computer case, come look at my hobo build.

Hobo Blend

1. A blend of tobacco (often used to roll one's own cigarettes or put in a pipe) created by collecting old cigarette butts from ashtrays around the neighborhood.

2. Simply smoking an assortment of cigarettes that you don't buy, but pick out of ashtrays. Usually done by young kids who cant buy real ones, or by Homeless people.

1. Eric had a pretty nice Hobo Blend going on after he picked about 100 cigarettes out of other people's ashtrays around town.

2. Dave: Hey man, can I bum a bogie?
Jeff: I don't think so man, this took me about 2 days to get a full pack of this hobo blend.
