One Week Stand

The act of adding a player to one's fantasy football team for one week, then dropping him from your team the next week. The most likely candidates for one week stands are back-up players stepping in for injured starters and players who have an underwhelming showing during their short time with one's team.

When I found out that Adrian Peterson was injured and would not play Week 14, I had a one week stand with Toby Gerhart. His 16 points made it a gratifying one.

Manshower Weekend

The weekend long right of passage thrown by buddies for a great guy after he announces he will be a father for the first time. The party typically includes: fine aged ribs, pork shoulder and artisanal cheese fixed in a Valhalla fashion with micro beer and such and in a get away "guys only fashion", hour to hour events are based around lollygagging games and tom foolery that dudes enjoy and take delight in, all to divert attention away from the conscious fact that one of their close buddies will soon pull away from the pack and devote his attention to the needs of his family.

Corey texted his friends that he was going to be a father for the first time. Slowly his buddies texted him back to congratulate him and ask when they could throw him a Manshower Weekend, to honor his ability to procreate.

One Week Washer

A person who will only wash once a week. During this week you can see them slowly turn more filthy each day until the fated day of the week were they think it is reasonable that they should get a shower. One Week Washers will also argue to others that being outside in the rain is also like getting a shower since it is basically the same principle, but it isn't.

Fred: Mike, each day I see your hair getting more greasy and your armpits getting more smelly, get a shower!

Mike: But I got one 6 days ago, I'll get one tomorrow and it shouldn't be that bad, it was raining yesterday while I was outside.

Fred: Ugh... One Week Washer!
