A way of counting down days to an exciting event. Exclusively used by infantile British morons who seem to think speaking like a 5 year old looking forward to christmas holidays (or chrimbo holibobs as they would say) is somehow endearing.

I can’t wait, only 3 more sleeps before I am off for my chrimbo holibobs.

When someone is finally resting or accepting a situation, after they've been fighting it. (Based on their use on hospital patients, who may be fighting to pull out IVs or foleys, and so they put "big mittens" on their hands so they can't hurt themselves, and they finally fall asleep.")
