Getting High, smacked. When you put a blunt in rotation your about to go on a "Up North Trip". The term was derived from prisons in upstate New York. Alot of Pot users started reffering it to getting high. Like going "Up North" or sometimes "trippin' out". The two eventually were put together. "Up North Trip"

Hudson North Carolina

A deserted town in Western North Carolina (A redneck ghetto). This town includes gangs, rednecks, and occasional protesting. Hudson is deserted with very few wanting to live there. Mainly known because of its surrounding areas where unemployment is almost at a National World record rednecks call this home. They sit at home drink beer and get a check for the government.
