SCENE/SCENESTER/FASHION WHORE/EXPENSIVE TASTE/CLUB KID:basically, its hard to differentiate the difference between male and female when it comes to scene kids.

-half chinese/brazilian works the best
-not so much into the whole black hair/platinum blonde streaks anymore
-extensions (sometimes, they are a pain in the ass)
-subtle mullet
-faux hawk
-miss sixty jeans, seven, true religion, something that at least looks expensive. straight legged or altered by a sewing machine
-find me at tigerheat or 82
-flats (shoes)
-eye make up
-calm yo self down on the face make up
-not so much going to shows anymore. the last one i went to see was moving units
-NEVER into the plastic pearls. only the real thing which is from my chinese grandma

Retards who let thier 3 year old siblings cut thier hair and wear thier belts to the side. Why? If you don't have crappy hair, then you aren't scene and if you aren't scene then you aren't hardcore and if you aren't hardcore, then you can't wear your belt to the side, and if you can't wear your belt to the side, then you can't wear one at all, and if you can't wear a belt your pants will fall down, and if your pants fall down everyone will see your Barney underwear, with the skid marks in the back.

A word on urban dictionary that has definitions that make me naseaus. And a confusing word too. From what I'm gathering it's like emo... but... not emo... and apperantly "scene kids" use funny words that confuse the crap out of me. lmao.

I'm gonna say it's pretty much a confusing word that has no actual meaning, just a bunch of meaning some losers with no life came up with. (I'm refering to myself too. lmao)

Scene kid: *speaks the dialog I don't understand*
Me: What???
Scene kid: *continues*
Me: WHAT?!?!

scenester

a scenester is a person who thinks they are indie but are obviously not. Sometimes they are chavs which think they are indie once they have started college. They often admire indie kids and try to be like them but cannot ever be an indie kid. Also, scenesters are chavs which are labelled as emo but try to be mainstream by liking bright colours instead of black. Scensters are disgusting kids who are sometimes trend hoppers by calling themselves indie kids and going to gigs and then the next day are listening to local crap radio and raving on about how dance music is fantastic. they never stick to who they say they are and disagree with labels. They try to say that they are just themselves and do not fit into a stereotype.
Scenesters can be boys and girls. Typically scenesters:
wear converse, vans etc and copy the latest trends.
wear bright coloured clothes.
insist they do not have a label and are just themselves.
steal attributes from indie kids
try to label themselves indie when they aren't
often act very childish
think they are gods gift to the world and everyone loves them
jump between social groups
slag off chavs but they adopt chavvy characteristics (such asa drinking on street corners
use phrases such as the sex and kthnxbi
uses internet talk such as <3

in conclusion, scenesters are copy cat trend jumpers who try to not fit a stereotype. they should all be shot. cough cough my sister
