Stay Free

The term goes back to the American whistleblower Edward Snowden. He often says goodbye with "stay free" instead of "stay safe". He explains that an excessive desire for security always comes at the expense of freedom. He wants to increase the value of freedom by using this closing phrase. Other people use this enactment to express their loyalty with Snowden's values.

A: Ok, see you. Stay safe!
B: Stay free, brother!

Stay Joshua

Slang for “stay happy.” Not that common, but it has some interesting connotations that may or may not be revealed by the tone of the speaker.

For example, when saying goodbye to a friend: “Talk to you later! Stay Joshua!”

a farewell, means "good luck" or "best of luck", "hope things go well for you!"

originates in the graffiti subculture. refers to the hope that one's tag, throw up or piece will "stay up" and not be buffed.
