sober goggles

When someone whom you usually wouldn't find attractive is looking pretty fucking darn attractive. It could be what s/he's wearing, a new hair cut, glasses/no glasses, whatever. They just look unusually good.

Eunice: Dude... Is it just me or does he look good today?
Susan: Seriously... Must be sober goggles.

SoBe is one of the best drinks out there. Comes in lots of flavors, including Orange Carot (I forgot the SoBe name)
Was a lot better when it was just a local drink.

Sober as a fox

When one isn't willing to admit drunkenness, hence they express that they're sober as a fox. The fox denotes that they can remain streamlined and sly about their condition, when in fact they are more drunk than they are willing to admit.

Mom: "Tommy, have you been drinking tonight?"
Tommy: "Nah ma, I'm sober as a fox."

soberphobia

The feelng of distrust and discomfort that drunk people have around sober people. This could mean people that they live with or come across in social situations. The desire is to force the sober dude to have some drinks to catch up. This, in theory, should enable "common ground" to be established.

Anna pissed "Gez, have a tinnie, go on just one, go on, have a tinnie!"

Gez "Nah, I'm ok"

Anna "Oooh, go on gez, I've had a drink, go on, have a tinnie."

Dave "Blinkin' Nelly, I think Anna's got soberphobia!"

I phrase used to pressure others into drinking (or smoking) against their will.
