A pejorative term for leftist hippy freaks that don't do anything but whine. They live to promote awareness for stupid shit that nobody gives a shit about like civil liberties of manatees and preservation of indigenous rocks of the rainforests.

One would say "That's primo status". Its used in the same way one would say stalker status in describing one displaying those behaviors.

1) Fox News presented Tea Bag events as news. However, they were a promotisement for Fox News sponsored events.

2) Commercials during television news programs that present products and services as real news bulletins. The mortgage industry collapse created a new bred of opportunistic promotisements.
