Alcoholist

An expert at alcohol. Like a specialist~ a professional. Someone who is a specialist at alcohol. Unlike the term "alcoholic", which has a negative connotation, an "alcoholist" is someone who is a specialist at alcohol. They are unlikely to be a drunk, but more akin to a connoisseur of alcohol. This is a compliment, and a term of respect and camaraderie.

That person is a pianist.
That person is a specialist.
That person is a biologist.
That person is an economist.
**That person is an alcoholist.**

Alcoholbany

The nickname for the SUNY University at Albany in upstate New York, given its reputation as a huge party school. (Sometimes spelled "Alchohalbany")

Alcoholbany is another pseudonym for a SUNY party school just like Stoneonta, Weedonia, Potsdamgood, etc.

Alcohol shivers

The sudden uncontrollable urge to shake when you have just taken a shot of vodka, whiskey. tequila, etc.. Also from any other strong drink that you poured too much alcohol in.

I just took a shot of Jack Daniels and got the alcohol shivers cuz it was so strong.

% alcohol * fluid ounces consumed = Alcohol Points

8.1% (steel reserve high gravity lager) * 120 (3 40's) = 972 alcohol points

40% (standard whiskey) * 14 (half a fifth of said whiskey) = 560 alcohol points

alcoholiday

A protracted happy party in which large quantities of alcohol are consumed. It can also be used while at a bar. Basically, if you're piss-drunk, you've had an alcoholiday.

I'm taking an alcoholiday, or I need an alcoholiday.
