Steams

Steams is a game. Fun for all the family. 'Steams' was born in Coundon Court School in Coventry. Everyone who goes to Coundon Court has played this game. It's not just a game either, it's a test of strength, bravery and manliness. The game evolved over the years into what it is today.

The rules of the game are:

You kick a football around in a group.
-If you get megged, everyone else in the group kicks the shit out of you.
-If you kick the ball in the air and someone else catches it, everyone else in the group kicks the shit out of you.
-If someone else kicks it in the air and you try to catch it but drop it, everyone kicks the shit out of you.
-If you take 2 touches of the ball, you get the shit kicked out of you.

"STEEAAAMMSS!!" (Shouted by everyone)
*Everyone beats the shit out of Sam until they get bored*

Strass

Definition: Strass (noun): Stress that is so annoying that it's a huge pain in the ass.

Strassing (verb): The active presentation of stress by an outside force to create a pain in the ass for someone/thing else.

"Man, my dog threw up, I have a test for Statistics, and I'm running late, what a pain in the ass! I'm so strassed out.

Anit-Strass: Any item that reduces or mitigates the effects of Strass, such as the Strass-Relief Tempur Material Toliet Seat.

Derived from the words Straya as in Australya and Asian being an ethnicity. A Strasian is an Australian born Asian, who boldly and proudly lives the Occa way of life while maintaining their Asian heritage and ability to use chopsticks... They don't drive doof doof cars but prefer 4x4's and classic V8's

A strasian is typically an Asian looking guy who speaks with a deep Strayan occa voice, and often wears a slouch hat while driving a mean looking 4x4

Strampitheater

Term to describe the newly developed museum entrance feature comprised of a stairway + ADA/stroller ramp + amphitheater.

The term was coined during the planning and development of a multi-acre outdoor expansion of the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. The Strampitheater allows visitors to make the 9' elevation transition between the street level and the lower entrance of the Museum without the need for a special ADA ramp and serves as a performance venue with a seating capacity accommodating approximately 600.

The Strampitheater at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County epitomizes the concept of Universal Design.

Strauss Moment

A moment experienced by an individual, when another individual states or does something to their liking, prompting him/her to experience a brief flash in their mind where they see themselves in different points of a hypothetical future with this individual eg. wedding, dancing, having sex, walking the dog, having an inside joke. This flash lasts for about five seconds, and then it is over.

Chanel: "While Burger was playing his guitar the other day, he looked up and smiled, and for a few seconds there I imagined our future together"

Marleen: "Sounds like another Strauss Moment"

Chanel: "I seem to have a lot of them these days, with like, everyone!"

Strassi

One part of the famous British TV-Series "Skins". The name of the charakter Cassie has it's origins in "Strassi"
It often describes an italian speaking, heart warming, lovely person that cries far too often, really good friend.

She's so nice, she must be a Strassi!
