connedcept

A connedcept is a concept that a person is conned into having.

When a person is given incorrect and/or partial information with the express intent of leading them to form a certain conclusion, that person comes up with a connedcept.

Joe: I heard that our new president is less racist and violent than our last one.

Jack: Yeah, and I noticed that he's dark skinned, and of foreign heritage and questionable religious affiliation...

Joe: I read that he wants to try to have peace talks with Iran and that the Islamic nation is glad he got elected. That guy must be a terrorist! I'd bet he's gonna sell out our country and make us all slaves!

Mark: You guys must have learned that connedcept by watching Fox News!

British slang for stoned, i.e. the effect you get from inhaling marijuana fumes. Recommended.

Other variations include mashed, blazed and 'totally out of it dude'.

cained out

A state of discontentment that primarily arises from excessive amounts of unsuccessful soliciting. Most often expressed in feelings of anger, resentment, depression, or bitterness, “cained out” can also refer to any unresolved emotions that inhibit one from being able to happily or willingly solicit to other people. “Cained” is specifically in reference to the negative attitude and nature possessed by Cain of the Old Testament in the Bible.

Dude 1: Hey man you seem really cained out today. I couldn’t help but see you across the street sitting on the curb crying in agony while we’re supposed to be going door to door doing our fundraiser. Don’t worry, everyone has their bad days and I’m sure things will work out for you eventually.

Dude 2: Easy for you to say, dude. You sold your entire box of candy bars today, Mr. Perfect. I’m sure you have nothing to be cained out about. Well, I guess it’s just too bad that God doesn’t love me.

Connedsumer

Any consumer in a market dominated by big business, where the power and control exerted by those companies provides a less than optimal environment for the ability of the consumer to utilise the product or technology.

A consumer purchasing a laptop computer with a region restricted DVD drive and no DOS or linux driver support would be a connedsumer. Likewise would be someone searching for FTP server software which, although being decades old technology, is still sold by software firms and contains less functionality than one downloaded for free from sourceforge.

Software connedsumers are increasingly finding that illegal cracks of commercial software, or open source software, is the only choice for hassle free operation without compatability problems and proprietary hinderances.
