Authoritarian Religious Cult

Oh? You mean you're not going to continue you to do that? Because you were doing that up until now and the internet shit-libs are going to keep doing and NOW...
Hym "The conservatives are doing it too... The were already an Authoritarian Religious Cult and now they're back at it again and are violating the constitution by imposing their incest cult on the schools in their states. So... That isn't helpful. It's too late for any of that. You've already lost. You might as well go into hibernation for the next 5 years because you're done. You shouldn't have let the economy slip fuck-face. And by economy I mean the price of domestic goods. And I don't care about the billionaires shit-lib. Prices down NOW. Don't care how it happens. Also, my thing or death."

Authority

That's what it's all about. Keeping me from having it in my own life by any means necessary. Upto and including orchestrating some grand conspiracy while an infection eats away at my brain and stealing all of my ideas to fund it.
Hym "Hey. I'm not the one who wants authority. You want me to respect the authority of your imaginary friend and you are killing me to shut me up. So, if an authority doesn't use it to make the pieces of shit stealing my ideas pay me enough to retire, I'm just going to kill a child. I'm not going to live as a cripple. I'm not working. You should have spent less time trying to get the rape porn off the internet and more time dealing with the targeted harassment. You sick fucks need to stop trying to use it on people or you need to keep getting your kids murdered."

Authority Objectivity Bias

The assumption that statements from recognized authorities—institutions, experts, official sources—are inherently more objective than claims from marginalized or unofficial sources. It's not always wrong to trust expertise, but the bias lies in treating institutional authority as a guarantee of objectivity rather than one signal among many. The Authority Objectivist forgets that institutions have their own biases, their own histories of exclusion, their own incentives to protect themselves. They trust the peer-reviewed paper without asking who wasn't allowed into the conversation that produced it.
"The university study says this, so it's objective," he said, unaware of the funding sources, the demographic homogeneity of the researchers, and the centuries of institutional bias that shaped what counted as a "study" in the first place. Authority Objectivity Bias: mistaking prestige for purity.

Authoritarian Precarization

A critical term for how precarization—the spread of unstable, contingent, insecure work—functions as an authoritarian mechanism. Precarious workers cannot afford to dissent, to organize, or to demand rights. The threat of losing one’s livelihood is the most effective discipline: it turns workers against each other, forces compliance, and eliminates resistance. Authoritarian precarization is rule by fear of falling, where insecurity is not a bug but a feature—a quiet, economic authoritarianism.
Authoritarian Precarization Example: “She knew speaking up about safety violations would get her hours cut. Authoritarian precarization: the whip of uncertainty, more effective than any boss’s shout.”

Totalitarian Precarization

An extreme form of authoritarian precarization, where insecurity becomes total—encompassing work, housing, health, and social belonging. People live in a state of chronic emergency, never able to plan, trust, or hope. Totalitarian precarization dissolves solidarity, commodifies every relationship, and leaves individuals atomized and desperate. It is the totalitarian control of life through the engineered absence of stability, making everyone a supplicant to the next contract, the next gig, the next arbitrary decision by an algorithm or manager.

Example: “He had three ‘jobs,’ lived in a weekly motel, and had no health insurance—his entire existence was a month‑to‑month negotiation. Totalitarian precarization: freedom as constant collapse.”

Authoritarian Financialization

A critical term for how financialization—the domination of finance over the productive economy—operates as an authoritarian force. Financial markets impose discipline on governments (austerity), corporations (shareholder value), and individuals (debt). Those who cannot pay are subjected to wage garnishment, asset seizure, and credit exclusion. Authoritarian financialization is the power of bondholders over democracy, of credit scores over life chances, of debt over dignity. It rules not through soldiers but through compound interest and the threat of bankruptcy.
Authoritarian Financialization Example: “The city declared bankruptcy to cut pensions and sell public assets—authoritarian financialization, where bondholders’ claims override workers’ lives.”

Totalitarian Financialization

An intensification of authoritarian financialization, arguing that finance has become totalitarian: it colonizes every domain of existence, from education (student loans) to health (medical debt) to housing (mortgages). It trains people to think of themselves as portfolios, to optimize their credit scores, and to accept that financial risk is the horizon of all decision-making. Totalitarian financialization is the internalization of finance as destiny—where even resistance is calculated in terms of return on investment.

Example: “She delayed having children to pay off student debt, worked two jobs to keep her credit score up, and invested in crypto to feel some hope—totalitarian financialization, where life itself becomes an asset class.”
