Bornstein's Law

As the average age of a social network's users rises, the probability of the discussion of "What I ate for breakfast" approaches 1.
First true thing I read on the internet was Bornstein's Law.

CJ Law

States that any relationship advice given to your friends will work perfectly, while the same advice will backfire miserably if used by the advice giver
Guy #1: "Dude, that advice you gave me was great! I got five chicks' phone numbers!"

Guy #2: "Really? Maybe I should try it."

(One minute later; Guy#2 comes back, limping)

Guy #1: "Well, what happened?"

Guy #2: "Apparently a punch in the face and a kick to the crotch is the new way to reject people. Stupid CJ Law."

Trevor's Law

Trevor's Law states that when someone has become decently high, and have found a more comfortable situation, they will not return to the previous situation unless they become less high. This explains phenomena such as "couch lock."
"Sadie wanted to leave the couch, but Trevor's Law dictated otherwise"

Karamazov’s Law

The phenomenon in which the real state of a relationship is inversely proportional to the projected state of the relationship on social media.
Tim and Erica sure post a lot of pics of them smiling on vacation saying “so in love after all these years” so you know they actually hate each other. It’s karamazov’s law.

Trans-in-law

When your father in law becomes your mother in law or vis-versa. Short for transsexual in law.
Kenya West appears unhappy with "Caitlyn" as his trans-in-law.

Harpers Law

Similar in practice to Godwins Law. Relating to the Liberal sponsorship scandal of the Chretien Government in Canada (referred to in the mainstream media as "Adscam"), Harpers Law is used compulsively by supporters of the current Conservative government to deflect from any debate regarding corruption, lack of ethics, incompetence, and transparency. Once used however, like Godwins Law, it shows the complete lack of any factual argument by the user.
-Did you hear about how Stephen Harper likes to eat a puppy with his orange juice for Breakfast?
-So what, at least he isn't responsible for Adscam!
-Did you just use Harpers Law?

-Did you hear that Harper is dynamiting Parliament, and moving the government from Ottawa to Calgary?
-Calgary sucks, but at least its not Adscam!
-Dude, I know you love Ambrose's hair, but enough with Harpers Law already!

-Have you heard that Del Mastro just robbed a Pizza Hut? The moneys still there, but he got all the pepporoni.
-Adscam!!!!!
-Why do you keep using Harpers Law? Harpers Law is not going to reimburse Pizza Hut or bring that pepporoni back, is it?

-I read that everyone who isn't a Conservative is to be rounded up, given a flannel shirt and John Deere cap, and is being shipped to Ft. McMurray as part of "Canada's Action Plan." Is this true?
-Adscam! Adscam! Adscam!!!!!
-Harpers Law is not going to save you from being tossed on a Greyhound with some Newfie going to some camp off Highway 63! This is serious! Stop resorting to Harpers Law!!!
