the act of looking in the mirror and asking your reflection if you are in an okay state mentally. when you aren't you will see the reflection shake their head and go no man you need to maybe stay home today.

I did a mirror check today and it told me today is not the day. I'm staying in.

A check done to ensure someone isn’t a seppo, whether it be of mind or body.

The term was originally coined in “a group that anyone can join except if you’re from the US” on Facebook but has since been extended to multiple other groups across the social media platform.
