pop the collar

A post-play celebration used in both American Football and soccer (futbol). In the American game, is it usually performed by a defender after a resounding hit while the hittee is still on the ground. In soccer, it is often used in conjunction with other post-goal celebrations.

The NFL and NCAA have basically put a stop to it by penalizing any player that does it. It is also one of the celebration animations found in EA Sports' NCAA Football 2005. As in real-life, you risk a penalty flag if you perform it.

After a big goal-line hit, a player will often pop the collar by putting their hands near the front of their shoulder pads and make a lifting motion. In response, the refs will happily lift the flag out of their back pockets.

A collaborator, catalyst, muse and dominatrix mixed into one.

Someone you ad or bring into the mix at an early stage of creative development when you feel something is missing but you just don't know what.

A confidante who will inspire you to get out of bed in the morning and start what you finished, or make something new and even better.

A modern-day artist's muse who actually gets some credit (rather then the tortured silent suffering uncredited muses of yesteryear.)

Coca-Cola employed a major ad agency to develop their new campaign but it wasnt until a collaboratrix was called into the office, that the team really got their pitch together.

A collaboratrix catalyses ideas in the people she agrees/decides to work with.

A collaboratrix's work involves brainstorming, goal setting, bringing out the best in people and being spontaneious.

The talented genius worked alone in his little studio painting everyday, once he met a collaboratrix his art was taken to a whole new level- global exhibitions, magazine spreads and a lot of buzz followed.

The collaboratirx is more goal focused andbossier then an old-fashioned muse.

To be a collaboratrix you have to be able to put your ego to one side and focus on win-win ideas and solutions.

Coll Fag

A specific stereotype of a teenage boy originating from Wellington College in Wellington, New Zealand. Notorious for extreme pride in their school, most likely one of the reasons they win at everything they compete in.

Easily identifiable by the signature mullet hairstyle, unusual slang, some kind of Wellington College uniform ie. track suit bottoms, bucket hat, scarf etc worn with everyday clothes outside of school maybe even socks with jandles

"Duz Care" is one of the more famous and original phrases of Coll Fag slang.
