A New York rapper from Jamaica, Queens (real name Curtis Jackson). He had great potential as a rapper, has a smooth flow, tough background, and gangsta vibe, unfortunately he sold out to the record companies and lost most if not all of his original appeal, as well as his lyrical prowess. Like many in mainstream rap, he now seems to care more about the money and fame than the music he started out with.

His older stuff (back around late 90s-early 2000s) was decent.

Average Hip Hop Fan: Man, 50 cent is whack, he only cares about money and hoes.

Me: True, but he's not as bad as other guys like Soulja Boy and Gucci Mane. At least he's got a legit background and used to be cool.
