In New Zealand, a ‘bum’ refers to a group of 3 or 4 individuals who ain’t very smart and haven’t made it very far in life. A bum usually smokes weed and/or other drugs on a daily basis and drives on their learners. A bum usually doesn’t go to school anymore or has does very poorly in NCEA and usually unemployed with no aspirations of finding a job. A bum also attends party’s in hope of being popular and might spread rumours of them pretending to have done it with a chick.
