This can take of the form of various types of ways such as being condescending towards the less educated, and those who lack similar economic opportunities or cultural exposures. Particularly it can perpetuate a type of class war through culture and education, or climbing a hierarchical ladder in a socialist organization, while also discrediting and demeaning other people's viewpoints given their perceived education and privileged socioeconomic upbringing.

God, I can't believe that champaign socialist tried to get that person fired for saying something mildly controversial, even though they might have a family to support or could be struggling with addiction.
