Even though I know it’s 2018... I feel like the infamous ‘loop’72’ has brought us backwards in time... to 1972.

snooze loop

snooze loop, the expression used when you can't stop snoozing.

You keep waking up, not fully and drift back into the snooze.

You know you have to get up, but remain trapped in the snooze.. can be dangerous, leading to lateness.

Lucid Loop

When you pick up your phone to check Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Messenger, Discord, Slack, Gmail, etc., but after you're done with that, it's time to check Facebook again.

When I get stuck in a lucid loop, I'm taking a break for what I think is 5 minutes, but is really 5 hours. By the time I realize it, it's 10PM and I've neglected to finish my work, go to the store, or simply eat dinner. pls help
