Jiffy

A jiffy is like a hoopty, a whip or just a car if you prefer to speak normally. The term derives from jiffy, used as an unspecified unit of time aka preppy slang meaning quickly or short period of time. However when jiffy is used by a roadman it is referring to a car, usually a piece of shit as most of them are poor, although relatively quick as it denotes from a quick period of time.

A word used to denote a small amount of time. Most commonly less than 1 minute.
