These people had no identity as they were adapting new changes in the new environment. During the 10th century these people that came from the north are Croatians, Serbians, Bulgarins, etc. When the Roman Empire clashed and the two churches split all the people
in the Balkan lands were christened to Orthodoxy. The Roman Popes could not stand this prosperity on the east, of Croatians and Serbians, Greeks gaining power. Therefore he sent Crusaders across the sea to catholize the Croatians and also try to convert Serbains (because they were closest to the coast). Unfortunetly they did successed to convert Croatins to Catholic Croatians. Through the ages, the Serbs that settled the east coast
of the Adriatic and without a choice recognized this new faith made my the Popes in Italy. (This is very interesting: are you going to believe what Jesus told his followers to do; +Orthodoxy, or are you going to ammend
new laws that were never made by Jesus; Catholics). Around the 5th century Mohammed, born in 570 in Mecca, Soudi Arabia, from his fortieth year experienced a series of revolutions through which God, Allah, showed him
the truth. He called this religion Islam ("submission"). At the end of the 17th century you could say that Bosnia and Eastern Croatia were mixed with Moslems. Croatia on its western side did not have great impoact from the
southern threats because they depended on Italy for religion; which was Italy's goal to attain many followers to Catholics. *I was born in Croatia and it is truly beautiful, in fact the whole Balkan land, or Former Yugoslavia
was amazing in its physical situations. You could say life was good, but when the 19th century came things changed. It was Hitlers doing to please Croatia so it can side with Hitler and destroy the Allies (North
America, Serbia, etc.) This is where backstabbing of Croatins to Serbains arose. It is disturbing to pick out some fact of what the Croatians did to Serbains. Over 1 million Serbs were strangled, shot, hanged, stabbed, set
on fire, etc. Serbs have always struggled to keep its identity and culture but it was being attacked by the Croatians. They have gained no good reputation by following dictatorship leaders to rip appart
Yugoslavia. (Why do they hate us? It should be us Serbs that should be mad and end your poison against inocent humanity). In fact it was Milosevic who played a role for ethnic clensing of Serbains that lived in Dalmatia for
centuries. I think it is time for the Croatian society to wake up and have a possitive attitude within themselves. They need to take their pittyful eye of the Pope and focus on rebuilding Croatia. They should also express that non-hate with Serbians. We might forgive but never forget what they did!
