Yogstow

"I farted." Of, or relating to the act of releasing flatus. Etymology: Shortened form of incorrect Spanish translation "Yo Gasto." Origin of word also influenced by the location of where it was coined, Barstow, CA. Developed in 1987 by two brothers, 16 and 18, during a family vacation. Shortly after a picnic lunch in Barstow, the elder brother underwent a farting and diarrhea fit, a la Jeff Daniels in Dumb and Dumber. From then on, Barstow became Yogstow and Yogstow became a code word for farting. Word has only ever been used between the two founding brothers, until now.

Self explanatory. Right after you fart, you say "Yogstow."

Yogite

Yogite or Yogites (pl) are new generation people in Yoga ready attire, including but not limited to standard Yoga clothing, carrying yoga mats, gym bags, water bottles, on their way to Yoga class.

We were sitting outside having coffee watching all the Yogites getting out of their cars and walking to the new Yoga study next door for their 7pm evening class.

Yoisted

When you and your friends get super yoisted and you decide that it wouldn't be impossible to just yoist your friend in the air and shout "TOGA TOGA TOGA".

It certainly is a way of life.

To be yoisted is to be beyond your normal hoist.

You are yoisted when you are in the company of good men and women celebrating the finest libations, and maybe just maybe, you went a bit too far. That is being yoisted in the best of ways.

Yoisting is also an act wherein you lift a friend into the air, possibly without consent, and hype them by chanting. "TOGA" is a good word for this practice.

We all just took a shot together but insert name here is clearly the most yoisted individual here.

He got yoisted. Yea we definitely just yoisted him.

Yoist!

We totally yoisted him (referring to lifting someone into the air because you are yoisted enough to believe you should)
