Snufkin 

Snufkin is a character from a series of books about tales from moominvalley.

The books were written by swedish-speaking
finlander - Tove Jannsen. In the books Snufkin was actually inspired by Tove’s gay lover.

It was first produced as a cartoon in 1958 Germany.

Although the one I watched as a kid, came out in 1991 Japan.

Snufkin is a free soul, he travels a lot, but he never brings much stuff with himself. Usually just his tent, fishing rod and harmonica.

He is pretty down to earth, I don’t think he’s ever lashed out on anyone.

U can often find snufkin in other people’s business or wondering what way the world works.

Snufkin 

A person, with brown eyes and brown hair. Wearing Hat and coat made out of The Great Green Dragon's hide. He was known for rescuing sacred Moomins, white hippo like creatures. He purged all evil and till this day continues his journey with only his backpack and a fishing rod. He may also be well known as Finnish Jesus himself.

Him:Have you heard of Kalevipoeg ?

Her: Yes! He is like Snufkin, but from Estonia!

When someone tends to frequently and suddenly leave with little to no warning, based on Snufkin from The Moomins, a vagabond that tended to disappear for up to half a year.

Person 1: Hey, this party is pretty good right 2?
Person 2: It's minnow season *leaves*
Person 1: wtf

Snufkin is a character in the Moomin series of books authored by Swedish-speaking Finn Tove Jansson, appearing in six of the nine books; his first appearance is in the second book, Comet in Moominland. Pulling a snufkin refers to leaving for a long period of time without any contact often with no prior informing. This is something snufkin does when he leaves for the winter which is very common in the moomin universe.

Butt Snuffing
