My nickname for a single, tiny harmless insect that does very little and just hitches a ride on your trousers/shirt/jersey when biking or sits quietly on the inside of the car window.

Man n. 1 -Oh look, a skibby!
Man n. 2 -A what?
Man n. 1 -A skibby.
Man n. 2 -A "skippie"?
Man n. 1 -A small insect.
Man n. 2 -Did you make that up, or is it some kind of slang?
Man n. 1 -Yes - and yes, that only I use.
Man n. 2 -Why?
Man n. 1 -Because I like it.
Man n. 2 -But nobody gets what you are talking about.
Man n. 1 -That's the fun part.
