Well known New Zealand term for a cocktail comprising of 50% wine (usually Pinot) and 50% beer usually lager.

"Hi Mr, can I have a Dutch Shandy? " "sure, the classic Pinot?" "Wonderful."

Shandy Pants

A person who has little tolerance for the consumption of alcohol. Usually this person will make for the toilet after the consumtion of a halh-pint instead of the British standard (5 pints before breaking thwe seal). Usually found sprinting back and forth between the toilet and the bar every 15 minutes.

Check that nobber Tarquin, he's making for the trap after half a glass of Babycham. What a Shandy Pants!

Hand-shandy

A sexual act carried out by all classes of society amongst males of solitary habits upon their own loins, or by a female upon the loins of a male. It involves the manual manipulation of the male organ in order to achieve sexual solace. This practise is very common. It is believed that the term refers to the white froth found floating on a glass of shandy (an alcoholic fizzy drink comprised of beer and lemonaide) and the similarities between this foam and the effluxion of sexual fluid that occurs during the moment of male solace.
