Procedure taken when it is easier to break people off into autonomous groups rather than attempt any sort of compromise, understand, or advancement of society. Often politically advantageous due to appealing to small minds, and exaggerates all previous issues that led to the segregation in the first place.

People of different colours are rape and pillage our towns and detroy our moral culture, so we should use segregation to keep them away from us. Note the idiocy of such a claim

Self-Segregate

When someone thinks everyone dislikes them because of their: Race, Gender, Age, Religion, or where they're from, when they really don't hate them for that. And then only hangs out with people of the same Race, Gender, Age, Etc.

Cost Segregation

Cost segregation is an accounting methodology based on the concept of accelerated depreciation. Instead of depreciation of your building as whole, a cost segregation study breaks out the sub components of your building to achieve you, the building owner, tax deductions now for those items that are going to be needing replaced verse later.
