Black Pop

Promethazine/Codeine mixed with a carbonated beverage (soda), most commonly referred to as “lean.” Depending on the pharmaceutical brand of the medicine, it will be red, green, or most commonly purple. When mixed with the beverage of choice, the beverage darkens, hence the name “pop black” or “black pop.”
