Plauge

A common misspelling of the word "plague" usually used by people who are either too ignorant to know the difference or by people who became too eager to type the letter "u" that they accidentally misspelled plague.

He was overly stimulated by the thought of typing the letter 'u' that he wrote plauge instead of plague.

The Black Plague: a historical event in which many people died of an infectious illness carried by rats. The Black Plague has nothing to do with race...as far as I know.

To apply a software update before it has been widely adopted, potentially exposing yourself to bugs or other undesirable effects.

OS 10.5 looks sweet, I just hope it doesn't hose my machine. Fuck it, I'm going to pludge.

VERB- to screw up the simplest task. NOUN- a person who screws up everything without trying or knowing why.
ADJ.- the NLG door was severely "PADGETTED".

ex.i "padgetted" the nose landing gear door on double nuts.

pledge brother

Strictly speaking, a pledge brother is any person that is going through the same pledgeship as yours within a certain fraternity. And, they are in the same graduating class. They are the ones you bond the most with, and they are usually the ones that got your back for the rest of your life. Shit goes down when someone tries to mess with any of them. Their relationship is similar to that of a blood brother.

Joe: Honestly, if anyone happens to mess with my pledge brothers, they're fucked.

Mike: Yeah, same here. We're brothers in the bond.
