one of the two twin cities located in central minnesota. pretty much a decent town as long as you stay away from the inner city which helps to make it one of the top 20 most dangerous cities in the united states. had one of the highest murder rates as of 2000 census and the highest rate of unsolved homicides in the counrty. A target for many hmong and sudanese and ehtiopian immigrants.
From Minneapolis to Baltimore we be out there. From LA to New York we be out there. From Houston to DC we be out there. From Dallas to Detroit we be out there. From Miami to Chicago we be out there.

Where Prince used to live. He can't even stand it there anymore since it's become the so-called "cultural capital" of the Great Midwest. Snooty and white, half the population likes to think that it is of Scandinavian heritage and likes to speak in faux "Minnesota Accents." Used to call itself "The Minneapple" as if it were even remotely on the same scale as NYC. Traffic jams galore, high taxes, losing sports teams, Minneapolis has nothing to offer. St. Paul, although plagued with its own problems, is still a more down to earth and better place to live and work.

The City in the state of good ol' Minnesota. The biggest city too (in the state at least). Minneapolis is most famous for the founding city and headquarters of Target. Minneapolis is apart of the Twin Cities Metro Area with the City of Saint Paul, the Capital City of Minnesota just next door. Prince, yes Prince was born and raised here in Minneapolis! Minneapolis has over 400K residents living in the city and over 3 Million living in the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area.
Unfortunately every city has its downsides, Minneapolis is seeing a surge in crimes and in 2020 there were riots due to the killing of George Floyd. But Minneapolis is recovering from the violence, protests, and riots. Over majority of the protests for George Floyd remained Peaceful.
On a lighter note, Minneapolis has many many parks, unique businesses/restaurants, lots of traffic, and jobs. In Uptown Minneapolis there is a famous nail place called "Little Luxuries Nail Lounge" that did (Sunisa Lee) Suni Lee's Nails for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Did you know that Minneapolis is building a few new skyscrapers? One of them is the tallest residential building the the state of Minnesota!

1.
Kelly, how was Minneapolis?
Oh Minneapolis was pretty great!
2.
Have you seen Minneapolis? There are like so many parks!
3.
Did you hear about that Sunisa Lee got her nails done at Little Luxuries Nail Lounge in Uptown Minneapolis?
No, I surprisingly did not hear that Sunisa Lee got her nails there in Uptown Minneapolis.

With glamour of its own and a Midwestern touch to it, Minneapolis is both vibrant and sophisticated. People from the neighboring states gravitate to the great varieties and resources it has to offer such as; employment, education, and entertainment. This is what makes Minneapolis a unique place to live, work and play. The city is not just diverse and welcoming but it’s a 390,000 melting pot of Scandinavians, African Americans, Hispanics, Native Americans and recent immigrants such as Somalis and Hmong. It’s the fourth gayest city in America after San Francisco, Seattle and Atlanta. Some famous people from Minneapolis are rock star Prince Nelson, former comedian and Senator of Minnesota Al-Franken and former governor Jesse Ventura. One of the best places to experience this fusion of cultures is the Midtown Global Market. Mall of America which is located in Bloomington is just ten minute drive away from downtown Minneapolis. It’s one of the biggest malls in the nation. The Nickelodeon Universe is the nation’s largest indoor family theme park located inside the mall. Also it has an underwater aquarium, voted to have America’s largest underground aquarium and the nation’s best shark encounter. With all four major sports teams, Minneapolis has a good sports establishment. The Super Bowl XXVI, the 1994 NBA All Stars and the 1991 Baseball World Series events have all been held here in Minneapolis.
Although I wasn’t born in Minneapolis, I moved here in 1998, and ever since, I remained to be a loyal Minneapolitan
