In normal discourse among people who aren't far-right ideologues, a left-wing person is someone who supports material action being taken to bring about social justice. Contrasted with a liberal who mouths support for justice while vehemently opposing any material action to bring it about, and with a member of the right who finds the very idea of social justice offensive.

A more correct political ideology that opposes the right-wing and conservatism.
The left defines one who is a woman as being a woman.
The right defines being slightly bisexual as Lewy body dementia.
Unfortunately, the hierarchical, monarchist clowns that are the right decided that they didn't like that, so they decided to enslave black people to try and get back at them.
Unfortunately for them, society has become increasingly more progressive and liberal, thus improving the strength of the left.
Unfortunately for us, rights' opinions have become increasingly verbose and explicit towards the left, because once an opinion is incorrect, it stays that way.
