internetaverted

Someone who is seemingly emotionless in person, but always posts online with a lot of excitement (a lot of exclamation marks, all caps, etc.)

Jennifer, being very internetaverted, sat quietly in Starbucks, eyes glued to her phone, without so much as a polite smile on her face while posting to Facebook, "OMG!!! HE PROPOSED TO ME!!! I'M GETTING MARRIED, EVERYBODY!!!!!! AAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!"

An intentional mangling of (the) internet used for ironic effect as a humorous reference to the large segment of the population that remains clueless about technology. Now a popular malapropism, "the internets" meme exploded after the second televised Bush-Kerry debate held prior to the 2004 Presidential election. Blogs and Television, especially The Daily Show, bear much of the responsibility for the initial propagation of "the internets" as it is currently used.

When asked about the seeming inevitibility of a draft, the President replied, "I hear there's rumors on the Internets (sic) that we're going to have a draft..."

interneteer

One who is good at the internet. For example, you can find quality links, something funny, good songs.

To be a great interneteer you have to be able to provide something (site, vid, etc.) without much conscious thought.

It's not uncommon for an interneteer to earn many Internets on a daily basis.

You: I'm bummed out. Got something funny?

Me: Check this out link here.

Internetless

Having no way of connecting or accessing the internet, so being left 'internetless'.

I was on the train to Coventry yesterday and the carriages didn't have wi-fi internet so I was totally internetless!
