ironic idealism

The outer limit of postmodernism. Idealism viewed ironically. Does not cover ironic nihilism which is a form of ironic idealism but falls OUTSIDE of the limits of postmodernism. Consistent with postmodernism's idyllic denialism or its perception of idealism as unreachable or unattainable except through irony.

Hollywood films 1990-2010 contain themes of ironic idealism or idealism viewed ironically.

A paradigm of society which is high-truth, high-trust.

Assumes that scientific realism is a segue to idealism.

German idealism assumes scientific realism in which language is treated as a medium of truth.

The theory that science is a subset of religion and predicts that religion will eventually subsume science.

Predicted the onset of postmodernism.

Kantian idealism predicts that religion will absorb science to create science-religion.

Allowing damage or harm to your persons or property without retaliation with the belief that doing nothing about it makes you safer.

idealism

I know this cuz I had a research paper on Berkeley. Idealism is the idea that all matter is just representaions of our inner thought. Nothing really exista if we do not think it.

Because im not looking at the couch behind me, it does not exist. Boy, idealism is great!
